FAQ
How many images will we receive?
You’ll receive all of the final edited images from your session. I don’t believe in making you narrow your gallery down to a tiny set of favorites when so many of the in-between moments end up being the ones you love most.
What should we wear for our session?
Upon booking, I’ll send you my Portrait Experience Magazine, which helps with everything from what to wear and how to coordinate to tips, tricks, and what to expect. It’s designed to help you feel prepared, confident, and excited going into your session.
What happens if it rains?
If the weather isn’t cooperating, we’ll reschedule. I always want your session to happen in the best light and conditions possible, so I keep a close eye on the forecast as your date gets closer.
Do you offer mini sessions?
Yes! I offer mini sessions twice a year on select dates in the spring and fall. These sessions are designed to be short, simple, and sweet, and they’re always scheduled at a location chosen in advance. As soon as those dates are officially released, I share all the details so families can reserve a spot.
Where do your portrait sessions take place?
I photograph families, couples, maternity, and newborn sessions throughout Crystal Lake, Barrington, Cary, Lake Zurich, Wauconda, and the Northwest Chicago suburbs. Sessions can take place outdoors, in your home, or at a location we choose together based on the look and feel you want.
DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH EXTENDED FAMILIES?
Yes! I do photograph extended family sessions. These are a great option for grandparents, adult siblings, cousins, and the whole crew to be together in one place. Because extended family sessions need a little more planning and coordination, I’ll help guide the flow so we can capture both the full group and the smaller combinations that matter most.
There is something so special about documenting the season before your baby arrives and the beautiful moments that follow. The Bump to Baby Experience includes both your maternity session and your lifestyle newborn session, giving you a meaningful way to remember this season as your family grows. From the quiet anticipation of pregnancy to those first sweet days at home with your baby, these are memories worth preserving.
