When I first got into wedding photography, I assumed my role in my couples’ lives would mostly begin and end with the wedding day. That was the big milestone, the main event, the moment everything was building toward.
And I still love weddings. I love the energy, the emotion, the once-in-a-lifetime feeling of the day.

But something I didn’t expect was how often my couples would come back into my world months or even years later, not as brides and grooms this time, but as growing families.
Some of my favorite emails aren’t about timelines or venues. They’re the ones that say, “We have news…” followed by an ultrasound photo or a simple “We’re expecting.”
Those messages never get old.

There is something incredibly special about photographing a couple in a season that feels completely different from their wedding day. The pace is slower, the mood is softer, and everything just feels a little more intimate. It’s not about a big production or a tightly planned schedule. It’s about documenting a chapter that is quietly life-changing.

What makes it even more meaningful is the familiarity that already exists. My past brides don’t have to wonder what it will be like to work with me. There’s already trust, comfort, and a shared history. We’ve already told part of their story together.
That connection changes everything about how a session feels.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing my couples well beyond their wedding day. From pregnancy announcements to maternity sessions and lifestyle newborn sessions, I’ve been invited back to capture moments that are every bit as meaningful as the day they said “I do.”
These sessions are never just about photos. They’re about continuing a story that’s still unfolding.

If you’re one of my past brides and you’re entering a new season — whether you’re announcing a pregnancy, preparing to welcome your baby, or simply wanting to document your growing family — I would truly love to be part of this chapter, too.

Your wedding day was never the end of your story. It was just the beginning, and it will always be an honor to keep capturing the moments that come next.
With so much love,
