A Walk In The Woods At Moraine Hills State Park

Oh, springtime - why must you tease us? With the warmer weather today (and by "warmer" I mean 38°), the kids and I packed a car picnic and headed out to Moraine Hills State Park for a much-needed change of scenery. 

Jack & Ellie had a great time exploring the trails with their walking sticks and even let me stop them a few times for portraits without their bulky coats and hats. They were real troopers and certainly earned their lollipops for the ride home. Though it was lovely to be outside - breathing in the crisp, cool, earthy air, I am looking forward to the warm sunshine and green trees again.
