A.I am partial to shooting with natural light in outdoor environments. I like to incorporate layers of foreground and background that blur into creamy bokeh and compliments my subjects with natural composition. Though I enjoy the look of dark and moody portraits, my preferred editing style is much more light and airy.

A.For couples, families, and seniors, the traditional posed shots are a must. However, I love capturing the "real," more candid moments from the day. In between the posed shots, I like to take photos of everyone laughing or the kids playing. I also capture simple detailed photos from our location. It helps tell the story of our day and makes for a lovely editorial layout in photo books or blog posts.

A.You can expect to receive a fully edited online gallery within four to six weeks after our completed session. I will also provide you with high-resolution digital files of all edited images through the online gallery that you may download, print, or share freely.

A.I average 75-100 final images per hour that I'm actively shooting throughout the session. This estimate is normally on the lower side since I tend to be an over-shooter. I love delivering my clients files quickly and easily via an online gallery. You will have the ability to print, share, and download your images as much as you want. I believe in freely sharing my work because that is what I would want if I was in your shoes.

A.I am in McHenry, Illinois, and love to photograph my clients in the different outdoor parks near my home. However, I am more than willing to travel for portrait sessions! I love it when my clients ask me to photograph them in a location that means something special to them! I include 60 miles of travel in my portrait experience.
