I truly loved every part of Susie & Sam's wedding at Dunham Woods Riding Club. Even though it rained, the love between these two was enough to brighten up the day. I have so many memories from their day that I cannot wait to share! From Susie's truly stunning bridal portraits and the unplanned mother-daughter first look that brought me to tears, beautiful candid moments shared between Susie and Sam after the ceremony, and the sweetest sister's first dance I've ever seen! I'm so grateful I got to be there to capture it all for them to look back on for a lifetime!
While there were so many other moments from Susie & Sam's wedding day, I wanted to share just a few of my favorites.
#3. Sam's brother Ben's speech! Ben's speech was so well done. We all laughed, we cried, but my favorite part was when he said he had always wanted to be an uncle of a middle-aged horse. Thanks to Susie, he's now living that dream! 😂
#2. The bride & groom portraits! Susie and Sam's love for each other is so real it was hard for me to stop taking their pictures so we could move on to their ceremony. Even though it rained, the portraits of these two under an umbrella are some of my favorites!
#1. The rainy good luck charm! When the rain moved in right before the ceremony, Susie and Sam's friends and family quickly responded and moved the ceremony indoors. Even though it wasn't planned, everyone worked together to rearrange the decorations to create a cozy space by the fireplace. The ceremony was just as beautiful as if it had been held under the grand tree!
