There's no better way to wrap up a fun-filled weekend getaway to visit family than to photograph another family on our way home!!
I must admit, I was pretty nervous when I was asked to photograph such a large family. I mean 16 people including six under four years old is a little intimidating. I poured over the notes I had taken, studied the answers from the family questionnaire, and even practiced on my own family during our trip, (stay tuned to see those photos). As soon as I was introduced to the Peterson family though, all of those nerves washed away!
This session was an incredibly thoughtful 35th wedding anniversary gift for Mr. & Mrs. Peterson from their son and daughter-in-law. The Peterson's have four adult children, all with families of their own now, two of which live out of state. Coordinating the whole family together to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the day these two love birds said "I do" was definitely something that needed to be documented! It just so happened that I was able to meet everyone in a park near their home as my family and I were passing through town on our way home. It's funny how things work out like that, isn't it?
Thank you, Peterson family for allowing me to capture images of you all in this precious season of your lives! Congratulations on your anniversary! I wish you many more years of love and happiness!! I hope you love these pictures as much as I do!
I'd like to also send a HUGE thank you to Kim Ritchie Photography and Kayla Dutcher Photography! You ladies are incredible!! Thank you for your encouragement and support in making my dreams come true!
Thanks for reading!
XOXO, Cassie
