After all that Rich and Maggie have weathered these past few years since their engagement, they deserved an incredible day celebrating the beginning of their new life together. Plans for a big fancy wedding in a downtown Chicago hotel had to be postponed a few times, eventually inspiring them to reimagine their dreams.

Alongside their closest family and friends, Rich and Maggie gathered together in Maggie's childhood home to celebrate with an intimate backyard wedding that was perfectly theirs. Free-spirited, joyful, and full of love! Even with a surprise rainstorm, they had a beautiful day and it was an honor to capture it all. I truly felt so loved and welcomed as a friend, not just the photographer. They trusted me completely, which honestly makes such a huge difference in how the day feels. It was a joy to create and capture their day in a way I love and I can’t wait to show you these images!
