Meet my family! Well, some of them—there are a lot of Lacinas!


This is Chris and Kris and their crew. Chris is Jordan’s cousin, and they’re some of the wonderful family I gained when I married Jordan almost 12 years ago.


We met at The Morton Arboretum to celebrate Rachel’s graduation with senior portraits and capture some updated photos of the whole family. The light was beautiful, but my favorite part of the evening was simply being together. We walked, caught up, laughed, and turned a family session into time spent with people I genuinely love.


There’s a different kind of joy that comes with seeing your own family through your camera. These are the people who have encouraged me and supported this little dream of mine, and now I get to give them photographs that preserve this chapter of their family. That will never be lost on me.
