Sarah’s wildflower bridal shower at Itasca Country Club was an absolute dream! The entire afternoon was filled with gorgeous floral details and so many people excited to celebrate this sweet bride-to-be.
One of my favorite parts of the day was the beautiful bloom bar, where guests could create their own bouquets to take home. I was invited to make one for myself, too—and I’m happy to report that more than a week later, those flowers are still looking beautiful in my kitchen!
The wildflower theme carried through every detail, including the most incredible cake decorated with pressed flowers and the cutest floral cupcakes to match. Guests played games, spent the afternoon laughing together, and shared their favorite recipes for Sarah to add to her new recipe collection.
Sarah’s fiancé, Frank, also stopped by with the sweetest surprise: an absolutely stunning arrangement of flowers for his bride-to-be. Calling it a bouquet doesn’t even do it justice! It was enormous, beautifully arranged in a giant vase, and such a thoughtful way to make Sarah feel extra loved.
Before I left, we snuck Sarah and Frank outside for a few portraits around Itasca Country Club. Sarah is one of Rachael Watson Photography’s beautiful brides, and with their wedding only a couple of months away, it was so fun getting a little preview of the two of them together!
