There is something so sweet about a couple whose story is filled with family connections, inside jokes, and years of growing together, and Camryn & Adam are exactly that. From first meeting at Lakemoor Fest in 2019 to officially starting their relationship in August of 2020, these two have built such a beautiful life together through busy seasons, school, work, and all the everyday moments in between.
Their proposal story is one of my favorite little pieces of their relationship. Adam planned an escape room with people they love and worked in a Ring Pop as part of a long-running joke between them. What started as a playful “I’ll just get you a Ring Pop” joke turned into the sweetest proposal detail, and I love that it may even become part of their wedding day.
For their engagement session, we met at Veterans Acres Nature Center in Crystal Lake, and it was the prettiest spring evening. The soft light, fresh greenery, and quiet little corners of the park made the perfect backdrop for this season. I especially loved photographing these two because their story connects to families I’ve already had the joy of capturing, which made this night feel extra special.
Camryn & Adam, thank you so much for trusting me to capture this chapter for you both. It was such a joy spending the evening with you, and I’m already so excited for all that’s ahead. Now, grab a blanket and snuggle up. Your sneak peek is live!
Thank you both again for letting me be part of such a sweet season. I’m so happy for you two and cannot wait to celebrate with you next year!
